The CYBOT problem pages - Ultrasonics

I have noticed that the Ultrasonic recievers keep moving.

This may effect the sonar behaviour due to obscured sensors

ABOVE: you can see how the sensor has shifted in its socket.

Here are two possible solutions that may help:

1. TWIST CABLES

The picture above show the cables twisted togther.
This has the effect of puling them central.

There is no concern with regards to signal problems.
The cables are sheilded - protected from external electrical noise.

BE CAUTIOUS not to put excessive strain on the connectors though.

1. TIE CABLES TOGETHER

The above pictures show the sensor wires cable tied together.

You could also do this with tape.
