| | The CYBOT RF Remote controlPart 8 - Testing the Remote System Stage 6 POWER Apply Power to the Receiver Board, I had a PP3 battery snap attached to mine.  NO LEDS should be illuminated when first powered. Ensure the battery is installed in the keyfob and the polarity is correct. Switch on Cybot's power, put it in a clear area and stand back. When the wand is touched on a command terminal, cybot should respond accordingly. USING THE TEST LED If you need to test the output of the receiver, attach the test led. The use and installation of the test led is detailed in the main project area for the remote project. The following images illustrate the signal levels in the different modes:
