The CYBOT RF Remote control
Part 2 - Building the Handset Stage 1
From the 'spare' parts left over from the alarm receiver, you will need:
You will also need some single strand connecting wire, to make terminals and board connections.
You need to make 14 wire terminals.
Using the wire, wrap it round a small screwdriver several times.
Trim the ends, allowing at least 6cm of spare lead.
THE PRINTED CARD BOARD
I appreciate that most people will not have access to board etching facilities, nor wish to purchase veroboard.
The main idea I had was to build this unit without the need to purchase any components or materials.
The only exception being connecting wire and solder.
As such, I created a Printed Card Board solution - paper layouts that are glued to thin card.

Simply print them off and cut them out. Glue down one side first, allow to dry and cut to size.
Then glue on the second side.
Done this way, it's easy to align the other side, observing alignment of holes.
I used a glue stick and a cereal box, thicker card is a bit of a pain.
To create the holes, I placed the card on a piece of wood, then gently knocked a thin tack through each.
